Our Story

Royal Landscaping was founded in 1989 by partners Mike Ford, Ronny Graham, and Randy McIver with a simple vision: to deliver a higher standard of landscape maintenance. That commitment to excellence has never changed. More than 30 years later, Cody Ford, Tara Prescott, and a dedicated team of professionals continue that tradition, serving the greater metro Atlanta area with the same passion and drive to exceed expectations.

On January 8, 2021, we lost our founder, Mike Ford. After laying the foundation of Royal Landscaping for three decades, his legacy lives on in the way we do business every day. Attention to detail, urgency in responding to customer needs, and fairness in every interaction are just a few of the principles we honor in his memory.

Today, Cody Ford carries forward his father’s vision, ensuring that customers always come first. With a focus on quality, care, and dependable service, Royal Landscaping remains committed to raising the standard for landscape maintenance across metro Atlanta.

Cody Ford – President and Owner

Cody has a B.A in Business Management from the University of Georgia. Cody has worked with Royal Landscaping since he was 9 years old, giving him 30 years of experience! Along with supervisory duties, he schedules the work to be done and is the main contact for all customers.

Mike has over 20 years experience in the industry, handling multiple crews and customers in the field. He is also our “Bobcat” guy.

OFFICE MANAGER / OWNER

Tara is well-versed in QuickBooks and has over 20 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filings, payroll, and more.

Cliff serves as the Lead Foreman at Royal Landscaping & Lawn Care, where he heads the Tree Removal Department and oversees Fleet Maintenance Operations. With years of field experience and a reputation for precision and reliability, Cliff ensures that every tree removal project is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations.
